Everyone wants thriving and satisfaction in life. But what happens when there are obstacles and how can therapy help? My goal as a therapist is to support my clients to create a life that allows them to thrive as fully as possible. Therapy is a specialized environment where the therapist supports the client to build on their strengths and learn new ways to cope with difficulties and limitations. Part of this learning might include: clarifying and expressing inner truths, understanding reactions to life events, discovering the root of emotions and behaviour, practicing new strategies, making healthy boundaries, finding creative solutions and following through on goals. The learning that happens in therapy can be a catalyst to help people take charge, power up, and begin the creative act of shaping their lives.
